The museum
Opened beside the historic Lindt & Sprüngli factory, the museum explores the journey from cocoa bean to finished chocolate and the ideas that made Switzerland famous for it.

The dramatic fountain in the entrance hall welcomes visitors with approximately 1,500 kilograms of flowing chocolate.

Swiss tradition
In 1879, Rodolphe Lindt transformed chocolate with the invention of conching, creating the refined, melting texture associated with Swiss chocolate today.
